White Sugar Sand

And how many people do you know that go to the Caribbean who do NOT go to the beach?  Yep, exactly!  Me too.
So in honor of all those gorgeous white sugar sand beaches out there in need of finding, laying on, tanning on, and perhaps even doing a bit of people watching on (although let's hope that there are not too many people on the beach to watch) Here are some of the pictures that I got while we were out and about on the beaches of Puerto Rico.

However, in all honesty I will have to make one more trip to the island to get shots of the very best beaches.  The ones along the west of the island.  The beaches who's names sound as beautiful as the beaches themselves.  Like Aguadilla, Cabo Rojo, Isabella.  Beaches where you can stand on the sand in winter and watch whales and dolphins sailing by you.  Where the surfing is as good as any place that you can imagine.

This was at Seven Seas Beach right before a storm hit.
Don't move, and you could find small fish, crabs etc. in the
shallows of the crystal clear water.
The water was so clear you could see
the sand under the water.

This was at Luquillo Beach on a particularly
deserted day there.
